Wedding singer 

When planning the entertainment for your wedding, you may want to consider if you will have a wedding singer, a solo harpist or guitarist, a violin player, or a live band or DJ. When choosing your wedding singer, think about what type of music you and your guests will want. If you are a younger couple, you might consider hiring an 80’s or 90’s flashback band.  

Older wedding couples may want to hire musicians that will sing old 50’s rock and roll or 40’s war era music. Will there be dancing at your wedding? Having a wedding singer to lead the festivities will take the pressure off of you and your guests from planning the reception fun.  

Most bands that have a wedding singer will supply you with a list of hit songs that they will perform at your wedding. You can choose your favorite songs and create your own tailored play list for your reception. Leave some room, however, for requests from your guests. You may want to choose songs that are themed around love, marriage, and partnership.
