Every bride and groom would love to preserve the memory of their day with wedding videos. You may choose to hire a specialty company that makes wedding videos, or ask friends if they will film your festivities or allow you to borrow their video camera.  

Should you choose to purchase wedding videos from a professional company, be sure to get a referral and all costs detailed in an estimate. You may also want to check if the company has a cancellation or refund policy in the event of unforeseen circumstances like weather or change of dates.  

Most wedding videos purchased as a package will include filming, editing and dubbing (copies). You may also want to include photographs of the bride and groom, which may incur additional charges for scanning. Ask your video company if they have a library of songs to choose from, and if there is a standard length for the videos. You may want only snippets of the ceremony and reception set to music, or you may want to keep the whole ceremony live. You should also ask if the company will have multiple cameras running from different angles, and if you can supply footage to them, which has been filmed by your wedding guests.
